Squamish Events Guide

What's On Squamish Events Guide is an online calendar of events developed by Jude Goodwin as a compliment to her and business partner Karin Shard's bi-monthly coffee paper, What's On! Squamish Events Guide.

Jude's priorty in this project was that the website be flexible but also inexpensive.  This is where Website Baker truly shines. Jude likes to create season-specific sections (right now you can find a Christmas Events section), event-specific sections (Sports, Arts etc) and wanted to have a Community Notices area where not-for-profit organizations could post notices.

Data-base driven systems like Website Baker allow new pages to be created instantly, menu items are easily added or deleted or made invisible or even moved around, and images can quickly be inserted using the Image Editor.

There is an online Submit form and an online Ask About Advertising form and lots more. Jude updates this website daily, keeping the pages fresh. This month she added a photo gallery where she will post images taken at recent events.

This website does not use a lot of different modules. It's requirements were simple. However plans are already underway for the 'new and improved' version for 2008.
